Two Reliability Acceptance Sampling Plans for Items Subject to Wiener Process of Degradation
نویسندگان
چکیده
Traditionally, in reliability acceptance sampling plans, the decision to accept or reject a lot is made by performing life tests of items. However, when item’s deterioration described degradation process, it can be based on observed levels items obtained from tests. In this paper, two plans are developed, observation items, accumulated given period time. To model over time, Wiener process with positive drift employed. Algorithms find parameters proposed suggested. Conditionally test, developed shown improve performance sense that lifetimes after test stochastically larger than those before test. Also, we compare both technical and economical points view.

Title : Design of Reliability Acceptance Sampling Plans Based on Accelerated Degradation Tests Design of Reliability Acceptance Sampling Plans Based on Accelerated Degradation Tests
Reliability acceptance sampling plans (RASPs) are used to determine the acceptability of a collection of units (e.g., a lot) with respect to lifetime. Most of the previous works on RASPs assume that life tests are conducted at the use or accelerated conditions. For high-reliability units, however, adopting life tests may easily turn out to be impractical in terms of the sample size and the amou...
متن کاملA New Optimization Model for Designing Acceptance Sampling Plan Based on Run Length of Conforming Items
The purpose of this article is to present an optimization model for designing an acceptance sampling plan based on cumulative sum of run length of conforming items. The objective is to minimize the total loss including both the producer and consumer losses. The concept of minimum angle method is applied to consider producer and consumer risks in the optimization model. Also the average number o...
متن کاملA DEA-bases Approach for Multi-objective Design of Attribute Acceptance Sampling Plans
Acceptance sampling (AS), as one of the main fields of statistical quality control (SQC),involves a system of principles and methods to make decisions about accepting or rejecting alot or sample. For attributes, the design of a single AS plan generally requires determination ofsample size, and acceptance number. Numerous approaches have been developed foroptimally selection of design parameters...
متن کاملEffects of False and Incomplete Identification of Defective Items on the Reliability of Acceptance Sampling
he effects of false and incomplete identification of nonconforming items on the properties of two-stage acceptance sampling procedures are studied. Numerical tables are presented, and there is some discussion of sensitivity to inspection errors. Methods of taking into account extra costs needed to implement better inspection techniques, when initial grading is inconclusive, are described. C-'> ...
متن کاملThe Use of Degradation Measures to Design Reliability Test Plans
With short production development times, there is an increased need to demonstrate product reliability relatively quickly with minimal testing. In such cases there may be few if any observed failures. Thus it may be difficult to assess reliability using the traditional reliability test plans that measure only time (or cycles) to failure. For many components, degradation measures will contain im...
